    SCP Collaborators,

The high-z spectra paper that Isobel and Andy have written (yes, the
one that has been around for a long time) has now been revised and is
ready for final review by the collaboration.

Isobel notes that the main changes since the last version are:
         - Addressed comments from Saul, Greg, Chris & several others at the
    SCP telecon in June 04.
        - Added section (from Andy) on Andy's spectral fitting program
        - using updated lightcuves (from Rob) to estimate dates on which the
    spectra were taken.
        - remade all the plots. Put error bars on plots showing calcium
    velocities and spectral dates.

The latest version is available at:
    http://www-astro.physics.ox.ac.uk/~imh/SCP/spectra_8dec04.ps

A few minor items (e.g. acknowledgments, a few questions left in text)
remain, but otherwise this is ready for submission. Please review this
and send any final comments to Isobel and cc to the archive (see CC:
above) by WEDNESDAY DEC 22. The intention is that this will be
    submitted, pending final changes.

    Regards,
    -Tony

ps there are two papers by Gabriele that we'll also be be reviewing
soon. Status of papers in preparation is at:
