Hi all,
just one mistake I found, very minor, on a first read through. The 'gf'
weighted value for the CA II H&K is off. It should be 3945.28. The rest
wavelengths and gf's are here:
lambda gf E_lower
3933.66 1.36144 0.00000 ] CaII H and
3968.47 0.682339 0.00000 ] K
I don't think this will effect the plots at all (it's a net shift of 380
km/s which I don't think you could see), just change the text. The
reference for the data for the low-z SNe comes from:
1992A:
@Article{kir92a,
author = "R. Kirshner and others",
journal = apj,
year = "1993",
volume = "415",
pages = "589"}
1989B:
@Article{wells89b,
author = "L. A. Wells and others",
journal = aj,
year = 1994,
volume = 108,
pages = 2233}
Also, figure 3 was made by Weidong Li for me as a favor. I suggest using
the one I have attached instead since there won't be any problems with it.
I have eliminated the Ib, since they all have He I in them and are easy to
distinguish from the others. The reference to 92 A is the one above, to
2003bu you can cite me, priv comm., and for SN 1994I I would reference:
@ARTICLE{1995ApJ...450L..11F,
author = Filippenko}, A.V. et. al.
journal = apjl,
year = 1995,
volume = 450,
pages = {L11},
Cheers,
Peter
