What is that based on? I remember the two humps you had when you first
showed it to us:

that led us to think maybe 1.72.
However spectrum you have in the slides on:
http://supernova.lbl.gov:8080/twiki/bin/view/Main/NovTeleconference
looks quite different, and doesn't show a convincing match to z=1.72 at
all.
