I know this message is longer than most attention spans, but please read
    all the way through it.

    * Searchscan now supports saving candidates to the database. Note that
tiles postscript files are *not* printed out automatically (that doesn't
really make sense now that scanning isn't just at one site). However,
they are linked from SNTrak, so once you've generated one, it should
thereafter be available to all. If you want printouts, you'll need to
    do your own.

    * I've run all of the subtractions from the ACS2002/2003 search. This
is the batch to fully scan. Find the candidates, save them, and let's
figure out what leftover problems we have. At this point, we should be
able to find ALL of Adam's old candidates. (Well, at least the ones
that were rising.) If we don't, we have a problem. What's different
about these subtractions: Rachel has improved the CR rejection, and I've
added the ability to mask out the "picture frame" noise from the
    subtractions.

    * Please read the scanning instructions at:

      http://brahms.phy.vanderbilt.edu/deepsearch/scp/acs2004/howtoscan.html

Note the text in red-- workarounds for a couple of redraw bugs.

    * SNTrak and the Wiki are now available. I have a script that will add
pages for candidates to the Wiki. For instructions to get to these
    things, go to:

      http://brahms.phy.vanderbilt.edu/deepsearch/scp/acs2004/index.html

Please pay attention to the instructions!!! The usual password doesn't
work on the Wiki (though it does on SNTrak).

From this page you can also get to scanmonitor, to see what subtractions
are available to scan. BOOKMARK THIS PAGE. I will drop links to
anything else I put up on this page.

    * Deeplib-0.5.4 is now available. I've installed it on the non-Enterprise
machines in Berkeley. Those of you elsewhere should get the new archive
    from:

      http://brahms.phy.vanderbilt.edu/deepsearch/scp/deepsoft/deeplib/

    and install it.
