    SCP Colleagues,

Apologies for the delay in keeping you informed.
The HST paper has been submitted to ApJ. Congratulations to Rob for a
    great job and heroic effort!

More information will be distributed when Rob is finished with the
Nashville AAS meeting, which is still in progress. In brief:

    * Last week there was a last round of comments and polishing of the
draft (with much effort from Saul and Greg). With the SCP Executive
committee having OK'd the paper for submission, Rob submitted it to ApJ
last weekend. The final version will be available on Rob's web page. (As
usual, it will not be posted to astro-ph until it has been accepted for publication.)

    * There was a news conference at AAS on Monday. Rob and Saul
participated. A brief Media Advisory (not a real press-release, just an
announcement.) was prepared and is available on the SCP public web page:
    http://panisse.lbl.gov/

    * A poster was shown at AAS, prepared by Peter and Saul, based on the
    paper. It is posted at:
    http://panisse.lbl.gov/collab/papers/

    * Rob is giving a 5-minute talk on the result today at the AAS. His talk
is also available on the /collab/papers/ page.

    -Tony
