The VLT FORS2 spectrum of S02-075 is on the spectroscopy web page at:

Both Lifan and I agree that the SN is at z=0.78-0.79, and that it is a
Type Ia or Ic.
Formally we both get a Type Ia as the best match, but over this redshift
range
and at this epoch, Ic's and Ia's are nearly identical. Even if we had a
much better
spectrum it is doubtful that we could differentiate between the two.

I will put up the Gemini spectrum when it is reduced.
