Hi all,
I just talked to Saul on the phone. He suggests trying to get spectra in
rough order of brightness, brightest first. This is because the brighter
ones are the ones that are most likely to end up with lightcurves, and
will allow us to get some idea of rates and results from these searches
down to a certain magnitude range. Does that sound reasonable?
T Gemini we will be trying to get S02-075 tonight, the one that was set to
HST without spectroscopic confirmation. We will also try some of the other
brighter Subaru SNe. If we dont manage to get S02-075 tonight (our last
chance until June!) then perhaps VLT should try to get it tomorrow night
as it transits.
Cheers,
Isobel.
