I don't know if offsets are good to 0.1", but I believe they are
probably good to 0.2-0.3". For dimmer candidates, the *candidate*
position is probably not good to 0.1" (which is 1/3 of a CTIO pixel),
which will of course set a limit on how good the offset is.
However, even with an error of 0.3" in the offset, an 0.7" slit is
probably still a good bet.
