Hi all,
Results from Gemini tonight: we battled the clouds all night but had good
seeing of around 0.6-0.7". We observed three brightish objects:
S02-064 Definitely a supernova. Either z~0.35 or z~0.56,
I think probably the latter.
files: cestmgs02_64b.asc, cestmgs02_64b.ps
C02-027 Strong line at 7409A but not sure what it is.
Dont think its OII (no 4000A break).
Could be OIII at z=0.481 or Ha at z=0.13.
Guess 0.481 because of possible H&K break.
No clear SN features.
files: cestmgc02_027_comb.asc, cestmgc02_027_comb.ps
T02-037 z=0.490 OIII, OII, Hb etc. Clear SN features.
files: cestmgt02_037_comb.asc, cestmgt02_037_comb.ps
Files can be found at

Cheers,
Isobel.
