Keck Oct99 Reductiions ----------------------- twilight flats: 28, 29 30 LALO ----- run numbers 59, 60 61, 62, 63, 70, 71, 72, 73 flats: 64, 65, 66, 67 (65 has longer exposure time ? just use 64,66,67) 74, 75, 76 arcs 68, 69 77, 78 (all 1800s) ran ccdproc to trim and overscan correct flats (using constant bias level) Made flats usual way, (smoothing 50x50 pixels) > lalo_flat1_pix compare flats and group frames flatfield all the frames did first set with flat1 try fringe correction on sky-subtracted images background subtracted them all using 4th order legendre medianed all the frames > lalo_s_med_all median smoothed on scale of 5x5 > lalo_fringe_5 subtracted that from the sky-subtracted data extract spectra using star as ref using non-fringe corrected images (tXXX.fits) > tXXXx.fits co-add wavelength calibrate flux calibrate ----------- Summary - after night 2 Name exp (hrs) comments Reblochon- 4:00 No trace visible chopin Marcellin- 4:30 Trace there but spectrum flat and slightly blue.
