Dear All,
I've now produced error spectra for all candidates that were observed with the VLT. The
data are available as a tar file from my web page. See http://www.sc.eso.org/~clidman/
If you not interested in the details, then you can stop reading now.
In order to produce the error spectra, I've re-reduced the Spring 2000 and Spring 2001 data.
These data are now reduced in exactly the same way as the Spring 2002 and Fall 2002 data. So
those of you who are using some of these high-z SNe for evolution studies may want to update their
spectra. In most cases, the differences are minor, but is some cases I've taken the opportunity to
redefine the apertures over which spectra were extracted.
None of the IDs have changed in the reprocessing of the data, but I have found an absorption line
at 4861.2 Angstroms in S01-035, which was classified as a FBT. Given that this is H-beta, this may
be a very blue (and variable?) stellar object in our own galaxy.
Cheers, Chris.
