to the lab (maps, etc.)
- Note on getting to the lab via shuttle bus - they changed the
route last fall. From the Durant, your best choice is to walk
straight across campus to Hearst (see UCB campus map)
and take the Hearst
shuttle to main lab stop. If you're familiar with the lab, you can
cross over to bldg 50 and then head to the cafeteria. (Or, from the
main lab stop, you could take the on-site
shuttle and ask the driver to let you off at the cafeteria.)
The alternate way to get to the lab from the Durant is to walk just one
block to Bancroft, take the Bancroft
shuttle which goes around campus and up Hearst but you'll
then need to transfer to Hearst shuttle at Euclid or
Leroy/Cory Hall (ask the driver which is best). Walking across
campus is probably more pleasant and faster because the Bancroft
shuttle runs every 30 min in the morning. The Heast shuttle is every 10
min.

- Wireless internet in all rooms. Ask for the username/password
at the front desk.
- You may need to ask at the front desk to have your phone turned
on. (Recent visitors have found that their phone was turned off when
they arrived.)
