The answer here is yes, assuming that he is generating K-corrections
properly with consistent parameters. The software that makes the
template is based on the same libraries as the software that generates
the K-corrections. If it weren't, it should show up when the errors
*aren't* randomized.

The fitted day of max should be (I believe) 50,000 in the simulations,
if you wish to compare.
