Hi Rob,
Eric Linder noted that the 2dFGRS contours slid over to smaller Om
in the new contours. We traced this to a calculation error on my part.
Recall that I sent you the following:
"Beta = f(OM,OL,w)/b. Hawkins et al have Beta = 0.49+/-0.09 and
b = 1.04+/-0.11. This gives f = 0.433+/-0.108."
Well, as you can see, the f value corresponds to Beta/b, rather than
Beta*b. So, the 2dFGRS value of f should be 0.510+/-0.108. This means
you will have to recalculate the 2dFGRS probability surface and redo
figure 11. Also, change the value in the text to f = 0.51+/-0.11.
Sorry for the slip-up.
