The first plot on the page isn't a fit -- it is just comparing the
spectrum to a Ia using Isobel's program,
something I did years ago. I didn't have a large library of SNe to
compare it to.
You are right that I should have made the comparison using rest-frame
days, not actual days.
Interestingly, the +7d fit came in just under the +11d fit in my
program, but within the errors,
both are just as good (the spectrum doesn't change that much over those
4d). Actually, you could
argue that the +7d fit looks better to the eye. I posted it here:
