Tony -- did you use Word or some other Microsoft program to create this
mail message? There were a lot of letters that didn't render properly
in ASCII, and as such I'm having a hard time figuring out what you were
say9ing. E.g., your first comment in the Abstract:
> * w = ?. -0.22 should be subscript. probably {} is wrong. occurs in 4.3 also.
> 1.
Notice the "?" there. What is this really supposed to be? This sort of
thing was all the way through the message; many characters were
replaced. Sometimes it was clearly quotation marks, but I want to make
sure I know what I'm reading.
If you've still got the text of what you sent, can you try exporting it
again with better ASCII options? Microsoft is notorious for using their
own private font extentions which aren't compatable with the rest of the
world.
