    Note that there is a possible explanation with mb -- specifically, the
    extinction was done a little differently (different extinction law).
    (Plus, the P99 paper, if I recally, says something wrong about the
    A_R/E(B-V) you want to use and how it varies with redshift.) It might
    be interesting to correlate residual in mb with E(B-V)_MW.
