    ...Also remember that they didn't always (usually?) succeed in fine-tuning
    which filter they would use for a given supernova, because they didn't know
    what redshift they were until after the photometry started -- so they often
    had to just guess that they were at z=0.45. This is why I think you will
    find that they were mostly just using B45 (at the telescopes that had it) and
    R (at telescopes without B45).
