Dear Colleagues,
Paranal has spent one hour on C02-031 in mediocre conditions (IQ=1.1). The
galaxy contains bright emission lines and an eyeball estimate of the redshift gives z~0.53.
Since the seeing is now degrading, I've told Paranal to stop observing this and our other targets.
We will have a closer look at C02-031 tomorrow to see if we see any evidence of a SN.
Cheers, and good night.
Chris.
