Hi Chris,

Saul and I discussed this idea over lunch today, and now that I understand
that both the host galaxy and the SN will be targeted, it makes sense
to me. There is very weak evidence from last year's search that strong
emission lines are not that common in our SN hosts, so it will be
interesting do see how much we are able to learn. Certainly this
approach will eliminate QSO's and most Type~II's, so should be very
helpful in that regard.
